Michael Wahl is from Colton, California and
currently resides in Makaha on Oʻahu. He has
a degree in Anthropology/Archaeology and a
masterʻs degree in GIS. Michael has been a
GIS Specialist for 17 years working in several
industries including: a private water company,
Navy emergency services at Pearl Harbor, Army
cultural resources at Schofield Barracks, and
now for the State of Hawaiʻi. He has worked for the DLNR State Historic Preservation Division
since 2016 and he played a key role in the
development of HICRIS and the SHPD GIS.
