As the Southwest Ohio Medical Director for Equitas Health, Dr. Kepler focuses on transforming the way healthcare is delivered to marginalized populations in Ohio. He believes the healthcare community has an obligation to offer the highest quality care possible that is culturally competent and within a financial framework that promotes fiduciary responsibility for patients and the healthcare system. He received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his Family Medicine residency in Beaver, PA. He has 27 year of clinical experience in both solo and large group practices. In 2014, he became medical director for Premier Health Group, a company that provided population health management for several insurance companies. He obtained his MBA from Wright State University in 2017. Dr. Kepler is currently doing a Fellowship for Primary Care Champions associated with the Midwest AIDS Training + Education Center and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine. He has presented to local and national groups, including his Accountable Care Organization experience to the National Association of Managed Care Physicians in Las Vegas, NV. Currently, he is leading the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) transformation at Equitas Health.
