Toni L. Bisconti, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Psychology and Co-Chair of the Adult Development and Aging Program at the University of Akron. Her research program is housed in the Transitions, Resilience, and Identity (TRI) lab and is focused on the association of stress in diverse groups with life-long transitions. Dr. Bisconti has presented at both regional and national conferences in the areas of ageism, stress and coping, and LGBT issues. Additionally, she has been a regular contributor on WAKR AM 590 in Akron, OH discussing psychology in everyday life.
