Michelle is the AccessHE Uni Connect Outreach Manager for North East London, and works closely with schools, HEIs, local authorities and charities to support learners from under-represented groups to make informed decisions about their post-secondary options. Michelle works across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, and Tower Hamlets. She has developed bespoke programmes including a creative programme for care-experienced students and an introduction to careers and HE pathways for primary-age pupils. Michelle’s interest in fair access to education stems from roles in education charities and supporting a maintained nursery school in East London as their Chair of Governors.
