Mushtaq Rabbi is an architect, a Registered Professional Planner (RPP), a Certified Value Specialist (CVS®) and a licensed trainer of Value Methodology, accredited by SAVE International, USA. He is a certified PRINCE2® Practitioner and a Management of Risk (M_o_R®) Practitioner by AXELOS, UK. His professional career spans over 25 years both in the public and the private sectors.
Mushtaq's Value Management experience covers application in programs, projects and strategic plans for water/ wastewater and conveyance systems, waste management infrastructure, flood and storm water management systems, integrated civic and emergency facilities, transit and transportation infrastructure.
Instrumental in developing, establishing and running the Value Management program of one of the largest municipalities in Canada, he has also led, organized, coordinated and facilitated Value Management sessions for large infrastructure programs and projects. Results have been delivering effective solutions to serve citizens and stakeholders and assuring public officials of consideration of “value for money” options, while offering over a billion dollars (cumulative) of anticipated investment and expense avoidances or deferrals.
Mushtaq holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from McGill University, Montreal. He has been on the Board of Value Analysis Canada since 2011.
