Tony (he/his) has worked for Zeitgeist Center for Arts and Community for 18 years, and as Executive Director for 14 years. Tony serves, or has served, in a number of leadership positions prior to and during his time at Zeitgeist, including the Duluth City Council, the Duluth Economic Development Authority, the Duluth Housing and Redevelopment Authority, on the board of directors at Clario Analytics, on the leadership committee of Fuse Duluth, the Imagine Downtown Steering Committee, and the city of Duluth’s Vision Committee which helped guide the Imagine Duluth comprehensive planning process. Prior to Zeitgeist, Tony ran a number of community engagement efforts, including the non-partisan Young Voter Project working to engage hard to reach voters ages 18-35. This effort helped drive Duluth to the highest voter turn-out in the nation during that campaign cycle. Tony graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of MN-Duluth. He has four kids ages 7 - 17, each navigating the transportation network in their own ways, looking for safe, reliable options to get around their city.
