Once a team captain and leader of multiple school clubs and activities, Sarah faced significant hardship as she became an outcast due to her differences. Experiencing discrimination and bullying from peers, educators, and other adults, Sarah has faced challenges that many may never understand. These painful experiences ignited a sense of justice in her heart, compelling her to ensure that no one else has to walk that path. With this mission in mind, Sarah has taught in diverse communities across Texas, Illinois, and Colorado, where she has been a part of mentorship programs for at-risk youth and coached basketball and track teams. She is driven to equip young people with the tools and mindset she wished she had known during her own struggles, providing them with the resources to thrive in the face of adversity.
