Steve Lucero is a co-author of "Chicago Gangs of the Southwest' and a former president of S.T.I.N.G. (Security Threat Intelligence Network Group). As a retired Intelligence Officer for the Colorado Department of Corrections, Lucero gives presentations on gangs and security threat groups to law enforcement professionals across Colorado and in other countries. Lucero also formerly represented Colorado and New Mexico in the the International Latino Gang Investigators Association.
