Since her senior year at Michigan State University supporting Somalian sisters at their middle school in East Lansing, Mary Hanson has been passionate about working with students learning English around the world. With an extensive background in teaching English to both children and adults in Mexico, Poland, England, France, and in the United States, Mary has taught in public, private, and charter schools, as well as in community colleges and universities. For the past eight years, Mary has worked with pre-service and in-service teachers to assist them in meeting the needs of the English Learners within their classrooms.
