Michael Ramage, PhD, is the director of the Cyber Education and Research Center at Murray State University. Dr. Ramage leads the center’s research activities, facilitates the recruitment of new students, maintains relationships with industry, and oversees the planning and execution of special events. Dr. Ramage earned his doctorate of philosophy in technology management from Indiana State University and an Information Assurance Graduate Education Certificate from Purdue University, as well as a master of science in telecommunications systems management and a bachelor of science in computer science, both from Murray State University. Dr. Ramage is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2, and a project management professional (PMP), from PMI. Before returning to academia, Dr. Ramage held multiple positions within the national technology non-profit Connected Nation, including project manager, executive director, and director of product development.
