Robert works with closely with the EESCLT to ensure improvement on ETHICON's supplier focus, performance, and overall execution in order to improve recovery and delivery growth of the ETHICON Endo Mech / Energy’s $4.3B portfolio. The Endo Reliability Program seeks to mitigate service interruptions by investing strategically in capacity, inventory, dual sourcing, and asset management (tooling) initiatives.
During his tenure with J&J, Robert has held positions with increasing responsibility, supporting equipment and process development for New Products, establishing and implementing Mfg Technology Strategies and driving automation and improving process capabilities for ETHICON and CSS. Robert has also been involved in assessing technologies for potential L&A ventures, and co-sponsored the J&J Sterilization Council, representing ETHICON and CSS. Robert was also the ONE ETHICON Supply Chain Leader for EU MDR and most recently worked in the Network & Strategy supporting the EES Supply Chain and leading project Satellite.
Robert’s passion for science and technology extend beyond work as he has been a leader and sponsor for FIRST robotics for over the past 20+ years. FIRST is a robotics competition for high school students with the goal of inspiring our youth to pursue science and engineering careers.
Robert holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Philosophy from M.I.T. and has an MS in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Maria, and 4 children, Briana, Cassandra, Mateo, and Lucas.
