Alexandra Hanson is the principal of Kreder Hanson Enterprises (KHE), a woman-owned affordable housing consulting company committed to community centered development. KHE provides project management services, business operations support, strategic planning, and policy solutions to businesses and organizations that develop and preserve affordable housing. We are passionate about the potential for thoughtful, quality development to serve the greater social good. Alex began her career as a community organizer working with college students in the SUNY and CUNY systems, which informs her development philosophy. After receiving her Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College, she went on to serve as Policy Director for the New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) where she worked with affordable housing leaders from the public and private sector to successfully develop and implement high-level policy campaigns. Following her work in housing policy, Alex transitioned into affordable housing development and construction, managing complex business operations, and closing over $150MM in affordable housing transactions prior to founding KHE in 2022. Alex served as Vice Chair for the Peekskill Housing Authority from 2020-2022 and is a Board Member of Community Capital NY, a CDFI that specializes in affordable housing and small business lending for traditionally underserved populations in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
