Dr. William Fales is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Chief of the Division of EMS at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He additionally serves as the State Medical Director for the Michigan Division of EMS and Systems of Care and as the EMS Medical Director for Kalamazoo County. He also provides medical direction and EMS training to Yellowstone and Great National Park. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Fales completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Geisinger Medical Center and is board certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS. A former paramedic and firefighter, Dr. Fales regularly responds with EMS to incidents within his community.
