Idaho Transit on the Lookout to Fight Human Trafficking

Jennifer Zielinski is the Executive Director of the Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition (IATC). She launched IATC as a registered non-profit in 2018 and has since established Solace House Outpatient clinic, specializing in trauma-specific services, including a Crisis and Resource Hotline for individuals at risk for, suspected of, or identified as victims of sex trafficking. Jennifer has presented on human trafficking to over 250 groups and organizations and continues to encourage a state-wide systematic approach throughout Idaho. She serves on the Idaho Governor’s Human Trafficking Subcommittee that proposed two legislative bills in 2019 relating to human trafficking and were signed into law. Prior to joining IATC, Jennifer was the Program Coordinator at Idaho Parents Unlimited (IPUL), where she worked within a variety of statewide systems, supporting families, and partnering with professionals for the past 10 years, giving her direct insight on identifying gaps, barriers, and needed improvements. In addition to her work for the IATC, Jennifer serves as the chair of the Consortium for Idahoans with Disabilities, where she works to protect, promote and advance the rights and interests of people with disabilities of all ages in Idaho. Jennifer is a graduate of Boise State University where she received her B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Nonprofit Management.
