Andrew Williams is one of six international Master Trainers with the National Safety Council, who helps individuals, communities, businesses, government agencies and associations to eliminate preventable deaths and injuries at work, in homes and communities and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. Through his core values of courage, passion, trust and innovation his goal is to help people live their lives to the fullest.
After a successful career as a Detective Sergeant with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department he founded the Tennessee Regional Safety Council, a non-profit, non-governmental Public Training Agency of the National Safety Council that provides training and education on a variety of topics from road safety, defensive driving and drug and alcohol issues to safety and health issues such as identifying and mitigating problems with workplace safety, transportation safety and first aid, CPR and Bloodborne and Airborne pathogens.
Andrew enjoys reading, music, learning, outdoor activities and most of all being with family and friends. He has been married to his wife Phyllis for forty-three years. They have five children, fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
