The Connecting Kids to Coverage (CKC) program, part of CMS, helps children and families get health insurance they can afford. It makes it easier for families to sign up for Medicaid and CHIP by sharing simple, clear information and removing common barriers. Our CKC program focuses on supporting Indigenous communities by working closely with Tribal organizations and respecting cultural needs. It helps families connect to doctors, regular checkups, and preventive care. By reaching out through schools and community groups, CKC helps ensure children stay healthy. Overall, the program works to make sure more kids, especially in underserved communities, get the care they need.
