9:30 AM - 5:30 PM Mon
Lena D. Kopp is a powerhouse Native American entrepreneur from the Choctaw Nation and a respected leader in the construction and trades industry, bringing more than 30 years of boots-on-the-ground experience and business success.
Most recently, Lena serves as the co-owner of CYA Tool and Safety Supplies (est. 2021), a rapidly growing provider of safety clothing, footwear, and tools supporting construction professionals across the region.
Before that, Lena founded 4C Welding and Industrial Center, Inc. in 2014, an NCCER-accredited training sponsor and assessment center that has trained and certified countless craft professionals. Just one year earlier, in 2013, she launched Kopps on the Run, LLC, a trusted provider of drug and alcohol testing and collection services.
Since 2014, Lena has also served as an NCCER Master Trainer and Administrator, elevating workforce development across multiple trades. She expanded her credentials further in 2016 by becoming a certified Practical Rigging and Signal Person Examiner, and in 2019 she was honored as an NCCER subject matter expert in safety, rigging, boilermaking, and welding.
Working backward, Lena brings a wealth of field experience from more than a decade in heavy industry. She spent 1999–2012 with AltairStrickland in welding and QA/QC roles, 2003–2012 with Fluor Corporation as a welder, supervisor, and NCCER instructor, and served as a boilermaker supervisor and welder for AMEC in 2006.
Her distinguished career began in 1994, starting in office work before moving courageously into the field—first as a laborer, then as an ironworker, welder, and ultimately an industry leader who has trained and inspired many.
