A forward-thinking safety leader, she recently earned her Doctoral Degree in Fire and Emergency Management Administration from Oklahoma State University, expanding her depth in emergency response, leadership, and resilience. Before completing her doctorate, Mellena earned a Master of Science in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University in 2013, building advanced knowledge in crisis response and organizational safety systems. Her safety journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2003, launching her into a career defined by purpose and impact.
