Kandi Schmidt, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified clinical health psychologist and former Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine, where she served as Director of Transplant Behavioral Health. She develops and evaluates integrated psychosocial services for medically complex transplant populations. She will join Rush University Medical Center beginning April 2026 to build transplant behavioral health services, including multidisciplinary care for alcohol-related liver disease.
