Robin Lacy is a Professor of Occupational Safety and Department Chairperson of Adult Education and Safety Sciences at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). He received the BS, MS and PhD from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Dr. Lacy has 25 years of teaching experience, beginning his career at UCO in 1999. Prior to UCO, Dr. Lacy worked for the consulting firm C.H. Guernsey and Company serving as a staff environmental scientist. Dr. Lacy has served as a board member to the Oklahoma Safety Council for twenty-plus years, is a Professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals, and counts his relationships with companies, organizations, professional societies and UCO safety alums among his proudest achievements. It is these relationships that lead to continuing opportunities for the students, interns and graduates of the Occupational Safety program at UCO.
