Kris is Executive Director of Elder Voice Family Advocates, an advocacy non-profit organization, and owner of The Links Group, a public affairs, marketing communications and public relations consulting firm. As a former executive and corporate officer in Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial companies, she brings a broad spectrum of experience and accomplishments to her current responsibilities. Over the years she has been given several awards for professional excellence. She is a strategic leader with a track record of accomplishment guiding all aspects of corporate communications, non-profit startup, investor relations and public affairs. Aggressive and creative programs resulted in substantial improvement in customer loyalty, employee commitment, investor interest, media fairness, community recognition and government support. Public service has been a life-long focus. She has served on the boards of environmental non-profits, been elected to Shorewood City Council, appointed by the Minnesota Governor to the Minnesota Racing Commission, and selected by the Hennepin County Commission Chair to serve on the 2040 strategic planning committee and two watershed district boards. Kris has a master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University.
