Advancements in Daylight Modeling for Visual and Non-Visual Effects
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Fri
Taoning Wang is a Principal Scientific Engineering Associate in the Building Technology and Urban Systems Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. His research focuses on the development and implementation of next-generation daylighting and lighting simulation tools for facade design and operation. The majority of this work is to facilitate new development in Radiance ray-tracing engine and associated software libraries, system measurement and modeling protocols. Taoning received his B.S degree in Architectural Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2014 and his M.S. degrees in Architecture (Building Science and Technology) from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016.
