Tony is a veteran Principal Broker with over 19 years of experience as a REALTOR in the Portland metro area. Tony is a doctoral student at George Fox University in the DBA program (on track to graduate in May 2023), has an MBA in Marketing, and is a proud graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree. He served six years of active duty as a nuclear launch officer. He is a former high-tech industry executive with vast experience in successfully managing international sales, operations, and marketing organizations. Tony is also co-owner and co-founder of Keller Williams Realty Portland Premiere, helping grow the office from four agents to 250 agents and over $1 billion in yearly sales transactions. Tony has been featured in 7 HGTV episodes, including "House Hunters." Tony has also been honored with the Portland Monthly Five Star Agent award for exceptional customer service from 2011 to 2023 and was recently given the distinction of Five Star Legend in Portland Monthly. Tony is also a two-time recipient of the prestigious Living Room Realty Excellence Award, which recognizes wisdom and generosity in the field of real estate in the Portland Metro area. Tony also believes in giving back to his industry and the community. He currently serves as thePresident of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) Oregon board, President-Elect of the Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®, state director for Oregon REALTORS®, and on the board of directors for the Oregon National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). He previously served as Vice Board Chair for Young Entrepreneurs Business Week (YEBW), a nonprofit organization building the next generation of business leaders. In each of these capacities, Tony has been a strong advocate for homeownership as a means to create generational wealth. Tony has a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, has run multiple marathons and multi-day relay races, is a certified scuba diver, free-fall parachutist (Air Force), and an avid Elk and Upland Game hunter. Fun fact: Tony is #141 in the U.S. on the official US Running Streak Association rankings list. As of March 2022, he has run every single day for 16 years straight. Tony has been married to his high school sweetheart for 30 years and has two awesome kids, both graduates of Oberlin College where both were NCAA athletes (football and track). When not working (or running) Tony enjoys collecting single malt scotch (400+ bottles), reading Beat literature, studying String Theory, watching his Lions/Tigers/Pistons/Red Wings/Trail Blazers, and traveling the world with his wife, Dr. Libby Kelly. Tony was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He has lived in Colorado, North Dakota, Minneapolis/St Paul, San Francisco and San Diego. He currently resides in Lake Oswego, OR with his wife and two dogs.
