Mike has practiced land use law in Oregon since 1991. He moved to Oregon after having obtained a masters degree in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma, and having practiced as a city planner in the southwest. Mike obtained his law degree from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in Portland. He was most recently a partner at Perkins Coie and then a shareholder at Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt. In early 2022, he left Schwabe to join his long-time client Pahlisch Homes and now serves as their Director of Government and Legal Affairs where he advises Pahlisch on land use and municipal matters concerning their development and homebuilding.
