Stacey Campo has been working within community schools since 2003 as a social worker, organizer, director of youth leadership and community school director. She is currently the deputy director for youth programs with Children’s Aid. She has her master’s degree from Columbia University in Social Work and her doctorate in Urban Education from The Graduate Center at CUNY.
Dr. Campo is particularly interested in the intersection between education and social work, school climate and equity within nonprofit organizations. She has been an assistant adjunct professor with Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter University and Fordham School of Social Service, teaching courses with a focus on an anti-oppressive social work practice, leadership and program design. She is currently a Senior Educational Advisor with John Hopkins’ Doctor of Education program.
