Leslie Baunach, NCSP, has been a school psychologist with Oahu Central School District for over 10 years. She currently is the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Delegate for the state of Hawaii and one of the Delegate Representatives for the West Region on the NASP Board of Directors. Leslie has previously served on the HASP board of directors as Treasurer, President, and headed up the legislative platform for many years, currently serving as the HASP legislative co-chair. Leslie serves as the Executive Director of the School Psychology Support Network, which gives back to school psychologists nationally.
Alec Marentic, NCSP, recently completed his internship and accepted a full time job with KKP complex on Big Island. Alec completed his graduate training program in School Psychology at University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He is the HASP co-chair for the Early Career and Student committee and the Chair for the HASP legislative committee.
Leslie and Alec are also currently in the process of helping to form the Hawaii chapter of Learning Disabilities Association of America. Alec will be serving as President Elect and Leslie as Treasurer.
