Pat Gotham is on a mission to help nonprofits raise money to make transformational change! As a Senior Director at the strategic fundraising consulting firm, CCS Fundraising, Pat works with organizations to do just that. Over the course of Pat’s 10+ year career in nonprofit fundraising, he has directly worked in higher education as well as youth development and human services organizations. Prior to becoming a consultant, Pat wore many hats from advancement services to annual giving, events, and major gift frontline fundraising. Pat loves to get creative and deliver new ideas. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Pat helped the YMCA of Greater Boston conceptualize and run a fully virtual gala in early June 2020, raising over $200K from individuals to fund food programs and free childcare for essential workers in the city. Pat also helped set up processes to help the Y build relationships with these event donors and convert them to major gift donors. He has worked with several other organizations to implement similar strategies following events and wants to help your organization think critically about how events play into your overall fundraising strategy in 2023 and beyond.
