Erika Lovejoy develops innovative policy and regulatory strategies to accelerate habitat restoration across California. In her role, Erika spearheads collaboration with landowners, NGOs, and government agencies to develop statewide policies and programmatic permits that advance aquatic habitat restoration and multi-benefit projects. Erika has successfully implemented several key environmental programs and has been an active contributor in California’s Cutting the Green Tape Initiative. Prior to joining Sustainable Conservation, Erika held lead policy and technical positions as an Environmental Scientist/Senior Planner with California's Water Boards, Coastal Commission, Department of Water Resources, and San Francisco County.
