Bre lives in Los Molinos, CA with her sons Will and Clyde, where she runs a small ranch. In her role at Carbon Cycle Institute, she supports partnerships and capacity building of regional Soil, Water, and Working Lands Hubs across the State. Bre serves as a convener and project facilitator, with intention to bring producer needs and solutions into programs, policy and communications efforts. Beyond CA, she’s worked on ranches in OR, NV, WY and HI, and with rural community partnerships across every western state. She serves as Chair of the CA Rangeland Conservation Coalition, advisor to the CA Grazing Lands Coalition, on the Leadership Team of Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition, and as President of The Western Center. She is motivated by a love for working landscapes – for the people, plants, and animals that are a part of them. She believes that agriculture at its best is conservation at its best.
