Ryan is a wildlife ecologist with over 25 years of experience conducting research and guiding conservation actions across the Sierra Nevada ecosystem. Ryan and his team work with a diverse suite of partners including state and federal agencies, tribes, land trusts, other NGOs, and universities building coalitions and innovating new approaches to answer important questions and bring science to action. He has led the Sierra Meadows Partnership for the last 6 years, bringing a diverse suite of partners together to restore and protect 30,000 acres of Sierra Meadows by 2030. He is passionate about birds, native landscaping, and baseball.
