Edith Rogenhofer started to work in the humanitarian sector in 1991 during the Yugoslav wars. After her mission in Goma, DRC (formerly Zaire) 1994 she focused on water supply and sanitation for displaced populations.
She joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 1998 working mainly in complex emergencies, in refugee and IDP camps. She also did several exploratory missions after natural disasters and technical evaluations of humanitarian water and sanitation projects. Currently she is based at MSF’s Vienna office as a part of the organisation’s GIS unit.
