Tobias Leichtle received his B.Sc. degree in geography with minor in computer science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (Germany) and his M.Sc. degree in geospatial technologies from the University of Graz (Austria) in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Currently, he is employed as a Ph.D. student at the Company for Remote Sensing and Environmental Research (SLU) in close cooperation with the German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) within the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Geography Institute of the Humboldt-University (HU) Berlin. His research interests include the development of algorithms for change detection using very high resolution (VHR) remote sensing imagery as well as analysis of urban structure with focus on Chinese cities.
