David Denny is the co-founder of Carpe Diem Developers, a solar asset development firm with a focus on commercial and industrial projects in Puerto Rico. He has over a decade of experience in the solar industry, and specializes in C&I sales, development, financing, and contract negotiation. He is focused on helping companies with operations in Puerto Rico lower their operating costs and achieve their ESG goals by going solar. Previously, David led and successfully exited from multiple energy and technology companies based on the mainland. David is NABCEP-certified, LEED-accredited, and holds a B.A. from Penn State University. David moved to San Juan to help rebuild after Hurricane Maria, and is passionate about helping the island achieve its goal of 100% renewable energy.
