Mr. Matt Thibodeau is a Senior Vice President and Project Director in Sargent & Lundy's energy consulting group. Mr. Thibodeau provides leadership within Sargent & Lundy on renewable energy, grid modernization, and utility planning projects. Mr. Thibodeau is a thought leader on competitive power markets and energy resiliency. Mr. Thibodeau has worked on projects throughout the U.S., as well as more than a dozen other countries, such as Brazil, China, Pakistan, Peru, South Africa, Turkey, UAE, and throughout the Caribbean. He has also led project teams evaluating new and alternative power generation technologies. He has significant expertise in the development, energy yield estimating, financing, construction, and operation of wind and solar power plants. In addition, Mr. Thibodeau has presented at numerous industry conferences, including on numerous occasions at the annual American Wind Energy Association Windpower conference. Mr. Thibodeau is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Puerto Rico and holds an MBA and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
