Katie Devine is a leader in affordable, supportive, and transitional housing development and has dedicated her career to expanding access to safe, stable homes for vulnerable populations. As a developer and consultant, Katie has guided the creation and financing of transformative housing projects across New York and beyond. Her expertise in housing finance and commitment to sustainable, mission-driven development have made her a trusted partner and advocate in the effort to end homelessness.
Over her fifteen-year career, Katie has led the development and preservation of over 5,500 units of affordable and transitional housing across several states. She is known for her expertise and creative use of partnership structures and financing tools, including hotel-to-housing conversions, zoning variances, tax incentives, and city-backed financing for the development of nonprofit-owned homeless shelters.
Katie's work has been recognized by New York Nonprofit Media and City & State, and she has been an invited speaker at several industry conferences and events. A graduate of Cornell University, Katie is a member of the Advisory Board for Women's Affordable Housing Network and an active member of the Supportive Housing Network of New York, New York State Association for Affordable Housing, and ABNY Women Leaders.
