As HPD’s Assistant Commissioner of Homeownership Opportunities and Preservation, Stephen Erdman oversees several programs that provide capital financing and downpayment assistance to expand homeownership access and stabilize existing low-income homeowners. He is also responsible for furthering HPD’s Community Land Trust initiatives and other shared equity housing models. Stephen has held a variety of positions at HPD, HDC, and the Cambridge Housing Authority, and has a Master in City Planning degree from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Visual Arts from Fordham University.
