Tracy Fink is IFT’s Director of Scientific Programs & Science and Policy Initiatives.
Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in Animal & Plant Systems, Emphasis on Dairy Science and a Master of Science from South Dakota State University. Tracy has over 25+ years of professional experience in agriculture and the food and beverage industry. Tracy joined the ranks of The Schwan Food Company as a Corporate Trainer and was eventually promoted to Projects Manager of Manufacturing of Global Supply Chain. At Schwan’s, Tracy led global supply chain projects in logistics and in-plant manufacturing. Tracy has spent many years working with food and beverage facilities globally in microbial control, including sanitation, biofilm kill and biofilm removal, as well as natural disaster remediation efforts. Tracy previously worked for The Acheson Group (TAG), Lucrima B.V., Sterilex, and NSF International leading the North America division for Food Safety before joining IFT. Tracy is a PCQI for Animal Food and Human Food Preventive Controls, as well as a Lead Instructor for Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP).
