Adam is a systems engineer and group leader with over a decade of experience in healthcare technology, policy, and security support for private companies including Pfizer, Zimmer, and Epic along with federally funded research for the Departments of Health and Human Services and Homeland Security at MITRE. Focus areas include bioengineering, medical devices, health IT implementation, rural health policy, and healthcare finance for projects sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health, and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, and the Office of Health Security. Currently, he is the project leader for the Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute (HSSEDI) team performing supply chain analyses for The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Health Security (OHS), Health, Food, and Agriculture Resilience Directorate (HFARD). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, a Master of Public Policy degree from the Johns Hopkins University, and a graduate certificate in Health Finance and Management from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
