Sean started out in his career 27 years ago with Archer Daniels Midland Co. as a Terminal Manager in Orlando FL. After several years Sean had an opportunity to advance his career as a Terminal Manager with Carry Transit in 2006. Sean was involved with the dispatching of food grade tankers; both dry bulk and liquid along with running a rail yard transferring food grade materials. During this time Sean became the liaison within Carry Transit to provide expertise to all the terminals, Shippers, and Customers not only on food safety but general safety. With Sean having a passion for safety, he moved on to be the Safety Manager for Carry Transit Terminal Operations, responsible for regulatory compliance regarding FMCSA, OSHA, DOT Regulations. Carry Transit has many terminals across the United States which are set up logistically to offer food grade materials either from the rail or from the terminal for short haul services.
Sean has spent the last 18 years with Carry Transit as a Terminal Manager, Safety Manager, Director of Food Safety and Quality, and is currently serving as the Director of Food Safety Training and Compliance. He is Certified as an ISO 22000 auditor as well as PCQI certified. Sean works alongside the quality teams at numerous global food manufacturing corporations to enhance and incorporate Food Safety principles in the development of technology for Food Grade Transloading and Tank Truck Sanitation. Sean is also a member of the ISBT (International Society of Beverage Technologists) and NTTC (National Tank Truck Carriers) Tank Cleaning and Maintenance Council.
