I've worked in the field of affordable housing for two decades. Starting as a housing activist, I've worked for both nonprofit and private sector organizations to develop a wide range of affordable, mixed-income, and mixed-use housing in cities and suburbs, both new construction and reinventions of old buildings. Aside from work in domestic affordable housing, I've spent significant time in Latin America researching and writing about housing solutions, and started a nonprofit to develop apps to help Latin American immigrants expand their financial options. I've had the privilege of serving on the boards of three nonprofits working on community development, affordable housing, and finance issues.
