Aurimas Sabulis -- a serial entrepreneur in innovative construction technology committed to strive for high-performing, resilient, and environmentally-sustainable industrialized transformation of our built space -- founded Dextall in 2020.
With a game-changing software and prefabricated proprietary wall panel solution that accelerates upgrading the structural exteriors mid- and high-rise building by more than 20 times, Dextall is a circular-economy construction technology company that empowers property owners, developers, and their partners to transform America’s built space for a vibrant future.
In addition to ridding the design process of efficiency traps, Dextall software also drives sustainability and net- zero energy advances throughout the end-to-end building lifecyle.
Under Aurimas’ direction, Dextall recently qualified for designation as an approved prefab panel Component Manufacturer for affordable housing retrofit projects in the state of New York, as part of the state’s $30 million New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Retrofit NY program.
Aurimas’ 20-plus year career in construction has been dedicated to utilizing technologies to advance the fields of design and construction, with a track record of award-winning and groundbreaking projects within the United States.
Mr. Sabulis believes the power of technology combined with smart business solutions can favorably bend cost curves as it unleashes sustainability and long-term value in mid to high-rise building construction.
Prior to the Dextall launch, in 2010 Aurimas founded and was CEO of INTUS Windows, a commercial glass/window enterprise that innovated solutions for high-rise buildings in the U.S., with manufacturing facilities across Europe. His experience in high-rise building construction, coupled with his expertise in finance allowed INTUS Windows to innovate product lines that both expanded affordability, achieved advance performance metrics, and gained a reputation for window solutions that are the most energy-efficient and sustainable mid- and high-rise construction in the U.S.
Further, blue-chip clients such as Wyndham, Hilton, and Marriott umbrella and sub-brands chose INTUS Windows solutions in their portfolio design guidelines, based on their advanced efficiency, quality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.
Under Aurimas leadership at INTUS Windows, the company launched its ground-breaking 1-Window-1-Tree initiative, which planted trees in communities around the United States for each window sold by the company.
Aurimas is an active member in a number of organizations that promote green, sustainable, and energy-efficient design in buildings such as United States Green Building Council and the Passive House Institute, where he advocates for improvement in current building envelope performance and works tirelessly to identify best-practice solutions.
He has spoken before the bipartisan House Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Caucus. In 2014 and 2015, Aurimas spoke as a thought leader panelist on net-zero carbon leadership and construction for the AIA Convention.
In his spare time, Aurimas is a dedicated Ironman athlete who competes in world championships and races all over the world.
Mr. Sabulis received an MBA from Georgetown University.
