Fiesta M. Martin, M. Ed., is a Regional Vice President for Rivermont Schools. She started her career as a Special Educator in 1992 in the public-school setting and worked her way up to a Senior Coordinator. She began working with Rivermont Schools in 2013 as a building principal. Fiesta brings more than 26 years of experience in teaching elementary and secondary education, as well as, in training and supervision of teachers. Fiesta obtained her bachelor’s degree in special education from Norfolk State University and her master’s degree with a focus of curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Regent University in Virginia Beach. She earned her leadership endorsement from Longwood University. Currently, Fiesta serves as an operational manager supporting principals and operational programs committed to helping each student not only meet but exceed their academic and developmental goals, ensuring that every individual reaches their highest potential. She directly supports 4 of the 17 Rivermont Schools in Virginia, as well as an In-District Program in North Carolina. She is most passionate about Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Professional Development.
