Anna Williams is an Accreditation Supervisor with the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and has worked with the Association since September 2015. She supports the day-to-day operations of accreditation by assisting clients in obtaining and maintaining accreditation in the chemical and biological fields of testing. Anna serves as the primary staff point of contact for laboratories seeking accreditation for cannabis testing, as well as A2LA’s animal health laboratory accreditation programs. She also supervises accreditation services staff working with cannabis and clinical testing laboratories. Anna has been a staff-approved lead assessor since 2016 and performs oversights of new and veteran assessors. She serves on several cannabis industry working groups and committees, including AOAC, ASTM, Emerald Scientific, and ACIL. Anna is also a member of Colorado’s Marijuana Enforcement Division’s Sustainability/Science and Policy Work Group, as well as Americans for Safe Access (ASA). She obtained her Six-Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in 2018 and has been formally trained as a cannabis assessor by A2LA.
