The Future of Cannabis: A Discussion on Social Justice & How the Industry Can Succeed

Felicia is a native Californian, Latinx, and a values-based community organizer, social entrepreneur, and change agent who has been affected by the justice system. They have over two decades of movement building within marginalized communities, getting their start in both the LGBTQ liberation and the medical cannabis movements in the mid-1990s. They worked for the non profit "Getting Out By Going In" in 2006 to bring the first women’s reentry program to Los Angeles county’s Lynwood jail. Felicia was named one of The Advocate Magazine’s 40 under 40 LGBT leaders for their intersectional work. In 2019 they were recognized as a Latinx LGBTQ role model by Honor 41. They’re a sought after public speaker on the subjects of equity, prison reform, economic development, marijuana/cannabis and intersectional community building.
