Taaha is a Tanzanian born New Yorker from Queens. After gaining the posse scholarship to Lafayette College, he worked briefly at Comedy Central, then Admissions at his Alma Mater. After leading diversity efforts in college access for five-years, he gained his Master’s in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He now works at an organization looking to generation Black and Brown leadership, serves on the Chicago Posse Board as well as the Muslim Writer’s Collective, and misses Queens.
