Jamie Hennick is a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Root Cause, a purpose-driven nonprofit consulting group, where she manages several collective action initiatives in the K-12 and postsecondary space. Currently, Jamie/Root Cause works as a network facilitator/backbone organization of two significant collective action networks in the greater Boston area: State Street Foundation’s Boston Workforce Investment Network (WINs) and the Biogen STAR (Science, Teacher support, Access & Readiness) Initiative. In this role, she contributes to the model’s design and facilitates network activities enabling coordinated, efficient and strengthened service delivery to advance shared outcomes for youth across the Greater Boston area. Prior to Root Cause, Jamie served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in northern California and taught in Boston and Cambridge. She holds a BA in English from Dickinson College, and an MA in Conflict Resolution and MBA in Nonprofit Management from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
