Tax Technology: What are governments designing and how will that impact the tax payers?

Rebecca is the Deputy Commissioner for Public Groups at the ATO. In this role, Rebecca is responsible for leading the ATO’s compliance programs for public and multinational groups. She plays a key role in the Tax Avoidance Taskforce leading compliance programs targeted at ensuring that the largest businesses operating in Australia pay the right amount of tax. Rebecca also leads the advisor strategy which focuses on the role that intermediaries play in supporting large business.
Rebecca has over 20 years of corporate tax experience. She has held a range of senior positions in the Public Groups and International business line at the ATO and has also spent time in the private sector, working at the law firm Allens.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) & Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Flinders University and a Masters of Taxation from UNSW.
