Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED) in Library Science from Kutztown University and a Master of Library Science from Clarion University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Instructional Technology at Towson University. As part of her PhD program, Kelsey was awarded a research assistantship, where she is currently assists Dr. David Robinson in a nationwide research effort to study the evolving role of library media specialists. Kelsey has dedicated over seven years to teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels within the Eastern Lancaster County School District. She is currently the Secondary Library Media Specialist and Ed Tech Integrationist at Lancaster Country Day School in Lancaster, PA. Kelsey advocates for enhancing literacy and fostering collaborative partnerships between library media specialists and content teachers.
