Dr. Kranenburg is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery. He serves as co-Medical Director of the Providence Medford Medical Center Spine Institute. Dr. Kranenburg received his medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University with subspecialty rotations in spine, tumor, foot and ankle, trauma, hand and microvascular, pediatrics, adult reconstruction and general orthopedics. His fellowship at San Francisco Spine Institute provided training in classical open decompression, microdiscectomy, interbody fusion via anterior, lateral, posterior, and transverse approaches, posterolateral fusion with and without spinal instrumentation, motion preservation including interspinous spacers, disc replacement and facet replacement as part of FDA trial. Dr. Kranenburg's clinical interest is in minimally invasive and microsurgical spine procedures.
