This presentation will outline the value of certifications and how they can be used to gain access to markets for cannabis/hemp cannabinoid products. For instance, producers of cannabinoid herbal materials seeking access to the European market must demonstrate compliance with EU-GACP guidelines and are subject to audits and strict contractual agreements with their buyers. The right cGACP certification is an effective way to demonstrate this compliance and access Europe's growing medical cannabis market. Recently, the US FDA allowed medical professionals to use hemp-derived CBD (and potentially other non-intoxicating cannabinoid) products in their patients' treatment plans as long as they are produced according to dietary supplement requirements. Getting a dietary supplement certification means your products become available to cannabis nurses and doctors across the country.
